Based on the "Guidelines for the Management and Audit of Public Research Funds at Research Institutions (Implementation Standards)" (decided by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology on February 15, 2007, and revised on February 1, 2021), we will take the following measures to prevent the misuse of research funds and misconduct in research activities.
1. Clarifying the System of Responsibilities
The following persons will be appointed to prevent the improper use of research funds and other misconduct in research activities.
Chief Administrator: Chairman of the Board of Directors. Oversees the entire Foundation and bears final responsibility for the operation and management of research funds, etc.
Chief Administrator: Executive Director Assists the Chief Administrator and has the actual authority and responsibility to oversee the entire Foundation with regard to the operation and management of research funds, etc.
Compliance Promotion Officer: Secretary General This person has the actual authority and responsibility to oversee the entire Foundation regarding the operation and management of research funds, etc.
Deputy Compliance Promotion Officer: Assists the General Affairs Department Manager of the Compliance Promotion Officer.
Compliance Promotion Officer: Department Head Under the direction of the Compliance Promotion Officer, this officer will manage and administer individual research funds etc. in the department or center under his/her supervision, and will publicize and implement the fraud prevention plan within the department.
2. Develop an Anti-Fraud Plan
We will develop an anti-fraud plan and take measures to prevent the misuse of research funds and other misconduct in research activities.

3. Contact Point for Reporting
The contact point for reporting any misappropriation of research funds or misconduct in research activities from both inside and outside the Foundation is as follows:

*You will not be treated unfavorably for making a report. However, if it is determined that the report was made in bad faith, we may take steps such as making the reporter's name public, taking disciplinary action, or filing criminal charges, depending on the circumstances.
